Build-A-Bear
If you want a fun and memorable experience with your kids, try the Build-A-Bear workshop! These "workshops" (stores) are available at many area malls, including the Burlington Mall. Build-A-Bear offers birthday parties, or you can just walk in during regular hours.
The basic set up is, you choose a bear (or bunny, or other animal), then you go through the steps to create your own personalized stuffed animal. There is a stuffing machine, which is really fun to watch, and you get to put a heart inside your bear before sewing it up! Once your bear is complete, you can choose from many outfits and accessories, to really give your bear his or her own personality. You also get to name your bear, and receive a certificate with your bears name on it. You can also return to Build-A-Bear whenever you want, to choose different outfits and accessories for him or her.
