Meatloaf
1 egg ½ tsp dried parsley ½ tsp dried oregano salt and pepper ½ cup beef gravy ½ cup bread crumbs 1 ½ lbs 85% lean ground beef
Beat egg. Stir in parsley, oregano, 1 tsp salt, ½ tsp pepper, ¼ cup gravy, and the bread crumbs. Add the ground beef, mixing by hand until well blended. Place in a 9x5 loaf pan. Spread the remaining gravy on top. Bake about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Cool for a few minutes, slice, and serve. You can use spaghetti sauce in place of the gravy, and use Italian-flavored bread crumbs, to make 'Italian' style meatloaf!
