Quick little chronology of Find The Best Local.
November 2004. Can't find local business on the internet. Purchased domain for Find The Best Local.
December 2004 to March 2005. What should we include and how should it look. Analyzed positives and negatives of several hundred other sites.
April 2005. Designed and published Find The Best Local.
May 2005 to June 2005. Based on feed back and analysis, increased listings from a few hundred to 4,000. Lots of typing. Redesigned Site.
July 2005. Published revised version of Find The Best Local with 18 categories and color coded navigation structure.
August 2005. Adding content. Now open for Advertising. Currently indexed in AltaVista and Yahoo. Still waiting on Google.
May 2006. Indexed in all the search engines. Two thousands hits per week. Just added XML Sitemaps to improve indexing. Business and Web Site listings just updated. Several articles to be posted this month.
